8. How to tell your story?

First of all, your story should be quite short. Try to keep it grammatically simple as well, so that it is easy to follow .
Make it easy for the listener to understand by using sequencing and linking words:

Sequencing words

These words show the chronological sequence of events .
First of all, I (packed my suitcase)
Secondly,     I......(made sure I had all my documents)
Previously     (before that )....... I changed some money.
Then    .....     I (called a taxi for the airport)
After that ... (when we were stuck in traffic, I realized.....)
But before all that... ( I had double checked my reservation )
And Finally ... ( I arrived at the wrong  check - in desk at wrong airport for a flight that didn't go until the next day)
Linking words

Linking words help you to connects ideas and sentences.
                           I booked a flight because ......
As a result,   I was late ...........
Although I had a reservation , I hadn't checked the airport' name .

I made sure I had an up -to-date passport and I also took along my driving license.
In short ,     I had made a complete mess of the holiday .ory

7. How to make friendship?

                                 Making Friends

When making new friends, there are usually three parts to the conversation you will have with your new friend. The first is the greeting. In this part, you and your new friend will greet each other and tell each other your name. The second part is the conversation. Sometimes the conversation is small talk and some times the conversation is about important matters, such as business. "Small talk" is an American slang term. It means that the conversation is about matters that are not very important. When conversing with your new friend, it is customary to give information about your family, your work, or you will talk about any matter that is important to you and your new friend. The third part of the conversation is the leave-taking. In this part, you tell your new friend that you are happy to meet him and that you must end the conversation.

In this conversation, Raju will introduce himself and his wife to Jim, their new neighbor................

Raju    : Hello.
Joy       : Oh, hi there!

Raju     : Pease allow me to introduce myself. My name is Raju and this is my wife, Jeba
Joy       : Pleased to meet you. My name is Joy khan. Did you just move in next door?

Litu   : Yes, we did. Have you lived here long?
Joy    : Me? I guess so. I've lived here for about 6 years now. Have you lived in Bangladesh very     long?

Raju   : No. Not really. When we left America and came to Bangladesh we lived with a cousin in Florida for 2 years. Where do you work, Joy?
Joy    : I teach mathematics at Maple Leaf International School. What do you do?

Raju   : I am a mechanic at Al-amin Diesel. I repair truck engines.
Joy     : What about you, Litu?

Litu   : I am a nurse's assistant at Shomorita hospital.
Joy    : Well, Raju and Litu, it was good to meet you. I have to go now. I'm teaching a class this         evening and I need to get to the college.

Raju   : It was good to meet you too, Joy.
Litu    : Yes, it was good to meet you.

Joy    : See you around!
Raju and Litu : Good-bye, Joy!
